Picasso’s Picnic is an annual festival located at The Visual Arts Centre of Clarington in Bowmanville. The organizers and sponsors believe that fostering the arts in our community is important to families, community connections and youth development. The festival has been developed to encourage creativity in young people so they can develop into innovative, creative and inspiring members of our community. The Picnic bring together youth of all ages with their families to The Visual Arts Centre of Clarington to experience a wide range of arts, performers, workshops, young artists and local arts related businesses. The goal is to provide youth of all ages, from toddlers to teens, a full experience of visual arts and performance arts.
