At its May 1, 2018 meeting the Youth Service Committee of the Rotary Club of Bowmanville donated $3,000 to the Clarington Centre for Individual Studies (CCIS) to be used for bursaries in support of deserving students. The CCIS is an alternative high school within the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board.
