Dianne McGregor, a Vice Principal at the Clarington Campus of the Centre for Individual Studies (CIS), spoke to the Rotary Club of Bowmanville about the program on Tuesday December 20, 2016.  The CIS is an initiative of the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board.  Its purpose is to provide "a dynamic educational experience in a flexible environment where students and staff together pursue their quest for life-long learning in an atmosphere of cooperation, dignity and mutual respect".  Following her presentation Dianne accepted a donation of $2000 from Chris Christodoulou, Director of Rotary's Youth Service Committee, to help support this very worthwhile program.
