Just another Tuesday morning supporting our community…. or was it? At our July 11th weekly Rotary meeting, Club President Chris Zelasko and Director of Education Chris Christodoulou presented bursary cheques to 7 (6 in attendance) exemplary students within our community. As each student was introduced and shared their appreciation speeches, one couldn’t help but hold back tears hearing their many and diverse experiences coupled with a positive outlook for their future and the future of the community, they call home. The event culminated with the entire audience giving these young talented individuals a standing ovation as we wish them all the best in their journey ahead.
Join us in congratulating Adrian (Skyler), Simon, Miranda, Teagan, Khristina and Gemma. Kaylee was out on summer vacation but will join us later this summer for her celebratory speech. Until next time cheers!
