The 9th Annual Meeting of the Rotary Club of Bowmanville's Septua- Octa- Nonagenarian Society (SONS for short) was hosted by Fred and Debbie Mandryk at the Bowmanville Family Restaurant on Friday January 3, 2020. Following an introductory welcome to the assembled #genarians and their spouses by Fred, the first order of business was to update the name of the Society to include those Rotarians who have entered their nineties. Fred then welcomed new members John Burns, Pauline Calvert, Denis Beaulieu, and Renee Bos and presented them with membership certificates. A delightful time of conversation and fellowship transpired over lunch. The membership extends it thanks to Fred and Debbie for hosting.
